Bushcraft & Country Skills – the Exhaustive List

Ay everybody! Becoming a capable human who can safely walk the earth is simple, but takes a wee bit of work and patience. There is a buncha country skills we all need, whether we are city folk or mountain folk. Luckily it’s all easy and makes perfect sense to the human brain. Working on bushcraft will make your body feel good, because we’re designed for the outdoors! Get yer’ ass out the house and God’s green earth will neutralize that anxiety which is caused by the demands of the 21st century lifestyle. So anyway, I made an exhaustive list for yinz as a starting point, in a recommended order for both fun, ease and trapping that knowledge!!

This might sound anti-tech, but naw! I like using a power drill, but I don’t drill through my skull to scratch an itch. It’s all about using tech and tools to make you stronger and happier, not weaker and addicted.

I truly believe that all of the above – especially the spiritual and communal – are critical to flourishing in a world where even a drop of self-reliance is needed.
